Crafting a Beer brand

The Story

Armando, a home brewing hobbyist invites a group of friends to try his latest hop infused concoction. Amongst his company, a business savvy friend decides everyone he knows should taste the ale and convinces The Brewer to embark in a partnership that moves them from a kitchen to a garage.

Enter the Dragon

Through a few degrees of separation I meet the brewing duo. Several cold beers later, and after vivid discussions over our favorite ales and bottle caps, the first ideas are scribbled on paper. Art direction and graphic design magic ensued to produce amazing labels and packaging.

Determining the label's typeface became as important as the beer's great taste.

Shaping A BRand

With ideas on paper, the first step was to sketch and let fermentation begin.

The Taste

Extra flavors and a bit of improvement yield a brand worthy of a bottle and cap.

Brand — Crafted

In the end, The Brewer and The Business Man, were very satisfied with their final batch. What was once an in home only great tasting ale will soon stand next to compete in craft beer sections within stores and hopefully win over more beer enthusiast like myself. Cheers to that!
